Essential duties and responsibilities

The Market Access Manager is responsible for analyzing and reporting healthcare market data, propose the business plans and best go to market strategies and help design the most appropriate solutions for patients in each targeted vertical.
Major missions cover:

  • Provide market information to the company’s leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas.
  • Identify leading market trends
  • Define the market access strategy to demonstrate the patient-centered value of our solution to health authorities, HTA agencies, KOL, payers and adapt countries access strategies accordingly
  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of business plans
  • Understand possible patients’ pathways for the company’s offerings
  • Evaluate competitors’ products in all aspects of technical and commercial position and develop a differentiation strategy
  • Supervise medico-economic evaluations and identify possible approaches to reimbursement
  • Develop contacts and build relationships with targeted partners and customers including Health Authorities
  • Establish strong and optimal relationships with external partners and customers (Providers, Payors, Patient Associations…) and build KOLs network
  • Support Financing projects calls (H2020…)
  • Be involved in the Company quality policy

Your profile

  • 10+ years in Healthcare and ideally in Medical Devices
  • Audacious and Innovative, self-starter who seeks solutions
  • Experience in working with senior management to align strategies and solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of European Healthcare systems and business practices; experience in communication with medical authorities, hospitals, physicians/specialists, KOLs and pharmacists, as well as other local health care sector professionals
  • Ability to lead and develop strategic marketing plans (development of value dossier, pricing strategy, marketing, communication)
  • Knowledge of regulatory and reimbursement European (and international) mechanisms
  • Intimate understanding of the patient base and what is important to them
  • Patient centric with a positive, professional, can-do attitude
  • Execution and result oriented, possess the ability to work independently, with a high degree of interpersonal savvy
  • Excellent communication skills, proven track record of successfully pitching for new business
  • Have strong negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English and French languages
  • A good command of Microsoft Office Suite and other enterprise tools

Education

  • A Master of Science degree in Economics, Health Economics, Business studies, Medicine, Pharmacy, or another relevant topic is required
  • Driving License B
